A geometric proof of sharp Lp-Lq inequalities for the Laplace transform.
Abstract
The geometric Lp-Santaló inequality, together with a geometrization procedure for functional inequalities, is used to establish sharp reverse Hausdorff—Young inequalities for the Laplace transform. This provides a new proof of the inequalities first established by Nakamura—Tsuji in the symmetric setting using heat flow methods.
